Who are the Top 15 football players in the Cincinnati area in the 2027 class?

Ahead of the 2025 football season we touched on the best players in the 2026 class currently, now it is time to touch on the best players in the 2027 class. This class currently has some heavy hitters locally and nationally, with the 2025 season on horizon this list might look different by Spring or even Winter time.

With this list, we used some of the big sites like 0n3 and 247, but for some of the others we had to put our ears to the street.

1. Ace Alston, cornerback, Anderson, not committed

Alston has offers from all the major programs currently. The 5’11”, 165 pound corner has 40 offers with the likes of UC, Ohio State, USC, Oregon, Tennessee and more on that list.

2. Kalel Johnson, offensive tackle, Moeller, not committed

Johnson is a 6’7”, 281 pound offensive tackle with a ton of offers. Like Alston, Johnson has some heavy hitters on the list as well, UC, Kentucky, Maryland, Ohio State and more.

3. Antwoine Higgins, edge, Anderson, not committed

Higgins is a 6’3”, 202 pound edge rusher, so in high school you might see him at outside linebacker or defensive end. He plays with Ace Alston who is on the list as well. Holding offers from Ohio State, Alabama, Michigan, Tennessee, Notre Dame and a ton of others.

4t. Lual Aleu, interior offensive lineman, Winton Woods, not committed

Aleu îs a 6’3”, 290 pound interior offensive lineman. He has offers from Kentucky, West Virginia, Maryland, Florida, Iowa State and more.

4t. Jaylen Mercer, edge, Winton Woods, not committed

Mercer is a 6’3.5”, 250 pound defensive end. The brother of Top 5 hoops prospect Kam Mercer, the older Mercer is making a name for himself on the gridiron. Holding offers from Notre Dame, UC, Tennessee, USC, Michigan State, Penn State and more.

6. Kenyon Norman, running back, Lakota West, not committed

Norman is a 6 foot, 180 pound running back that is starting to climb up a lot of charts. Holding offers from UC, Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin, Penn State and more.

7t. Patrick O’Brien, offensive tackle, Moeller, not committed

O’Brien is a 6’6”, 260 pound offensive tackle. He currently holds offers from Florida Atlantic and Toledo

7t. Monsanna Torbert, athlete, Taft, not committed

Torbert is a 6 foot, 160 pound athlete. He is known as a dual threat quarterback and can play defensive back. He holds offers from Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky and more.

9. Isaiah Garrett, running back, Winton Woods, not committed

Garrett is a 5’10”, 168 pound running back who like his teammates on the list is climbing the charts. He has offers from Kentucky, Maryland, Purdue, Michigan and more.

10. Hezikiah Kelley, ATH, Northwest, committed to Cincinnati

Kelley is the only 2027 class member on this is list that is committed. The 6’2”, 190 pound athlete, will fit at outside linebacker more than likely for Cincinnati. He had offers from Eastern Michigan, Kent State, Miami of Ohio and more.

11. Mark Madden, cornerback, Anderson, not committed

Madden is a 5’10”, 165 pound cornerback, who plays offense as well. Transferring from Withrow, he now joins Ace Alston to form one of the best cornerback tandems in Ohio. He holds offers from Marshall, Kentucky, West Virginia, Temple, Indiana and more.

12. Jaiden Davis, defensive lineman, Middletown, not committed

Davis is a 6’4”, 247 pound defensive lineman. He currently holds offers from Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, Howard, Kent State and Iowa.

13. Chris Bradley, cornerback, Lakota West, not committed

Bradley is a 5’10”, 160 pound cornerback, that plays some wide receiver as well. Transferring from Moeller to Lakota West, it is a huge get for West. He holds offers from Kent State, Toledo and Miami of Ohio.

14. Eddie Holloway, wide receiver, Taft, not committed

Holloway is a 5’11”, 160 pound wide receiver. He currently holds offers from Akron, Kent State, Miami of Ohio and Toledo.

15. Kaden Estep, quarterback, Elder, not committed

Estep is a 6 foot, 170 pound quarterback. He currently holds offers from Toledo, Miami of Ohio and Kent State.
