Top 10 high school wide receivers in the Cincinnati area

With high school football starting up on Thursday(yesterday), TFON is going to give you 10 wide receivers to keep an eye on during the 2026 season. We aren’t ranking the Top 10 in any particular order, but we are basing our rankings on how well their 2025 went and their potential.

Cordell Ball, junior, Oak Hills

As a sophomore Ball, amassed 56 catches for 1,017 yards and nine touchdowns. He also had a rushing touchdown. The junior is racking up offers and is due to have a huge junior season. 

Lorenzo McMullen, Jr., junior, Princeton

McMullen, Jr. transferred from Taft. Last season, he had 39 catches for 601 yards and 14 touchdowns. Princeton has a new weapon for their state championship push. Like Ball, he is ranking up a ton a DI offers as well.

Eddie Holloway, senior, North College Hill

Like McMullen, Jr, Holloway transferred from Taft. Last season, he had 25 catches for 351 yards and five touchdowns. The Kent State commit will be a big part of the North College Hill offense.

DeSean Flagg, Jr., junior, Colerain

Flagg jumped on the scene last year showing a knack for the big play. Last season, he racked up 32 catches for 616 yards and three touchdowns. He also had a rushing touchdown. Flagg picked up a few DI offers during the offseason.

Andrew Lyman, senior, Elder

Lyman transferred from Kings to Elder and Elder fans are in static. Last season, he had 45 catches for 838 yards and seven touchdowns. Will he be able to put up similar numbers in the GCL? His quarterback Kaden Estep believes so!

Chuck Alexander, senior, Withrow

Anderson had 21 catches for 369 yards and six touchdowns, last season. The Iowa State commit will be somebody to watch on Friday’s.

Elijah Jones, senior, Middletown

Jones has transferred from Hamilton to Middletown. Middletown had a strong 2025 season and Jones will be a key piece to help them have success in 2026. Last season, he had 42 catches for 558 yards and nine touchdowns.

Tysin Weaver, senior , Anderson

Weaver had 91 catches for 1,375 yards and 20 touchdowns. That's a hell of a stat line, TFON looks forward to see what he does in 2026.

Cooper Kathman, senior, Anderson

Kathman like his running mate Tyson Weaver had over 1,000 yards in his junior season. He had 90 catches for 1,158 yards and eight touchdowns. Will the Anderson duo go for 1,000 a piece again?

Tyler Fryman, senior, Beechwood (NKY)

Fryman had a monster junior season racking up 45 catches for 1,023 yards and 18 touchdowns, he also had 277 yards rushing and three touchdowns. Yeah, you added it up right 21 touchdowns, teams over in Northern Kentucky better have a plan to control the UK commit this season.
