Sahnya Jah commits to UC

Moments ago, Katrina Merriweather and staff landed a commitment from SMU transfer forward Sahnya Jah.
Jah, started her career at South Carolina back in 2023, where she was listed as a four-star recruit, 40th overall in the class of 2023, after spending her high school career at prestigious Montverde Academy in Florida. Jah, then spent her sophomore year at Arizona before following then former head coach Adai Barnes to SMU for her junior season.
The 6'0" junior forward is coming off a career year where she averaged 9.7 points and 4.7 rebounds in 2025-2026. However, she comes to Cincinnati with plenty of experience after stints in the SEC, Big 12 and ACC over the last three years.
Jah, now becomes the third member of the 2026 transfer class along Jade Jones and Naomi Benson.
