The "King of the Block" rivalry was back in action to kick off the high school football season in the state of Ohio with nearly 11,000 fans in attendance for tonight's Moeller vs Princeton rivalry matchup.

A rivalry that Princeton has fallen victim too over the last 19 years, with the Vikings last win over the Crusaders coming back in 1991. However, that all changed tonight after the Vikings defeated the Crusaders 31-24 at Paycor Stadium.

The Vikings were led by senior running back Jordan Hall, who finished the game with a game high three touchdowns. The Miami of Ohio commit got the Vikings on the board early with an 84-yard touchdown reception, matter in fact, he made a couple defenders miss along the way. However, Crusaders simply had no answer for Hall, as he finished the game with a total of three touchdowns on the evening. Hall averaged nearly seven yards per carry, where he racked up 100 yards on 13 carries and two touchdowns on the ground.

Meanwhile, the Crusaders controlled a 14-10 lead early in the third quarter, but from there on out, it was all Vikings as they opened up the flood gates in the second half. That was all while, star quarterback Monsanna Torbert dealing with cramps midway through the third quarter, his younger brother Key'Sean, anchored the offense for the majority of the second half and helped the Vikings secure the second half comeback.

The Vikings defense stood tall as they came away with a crucial pick six late in the fourth quarter as senior defensive back Derrick Jeffries intercepted Nick Monserez pass deep in Crusader territory for the easy score. That was the difference maker late in the game, as the Crusaders didn't shy away from the battle down the stretch.
