Local kid comes back home, Notre Dame running back Gi'Bran Payne commits to Cincinnati

News on the early side, Cincinnati Bearcats gets a new running back as Gi'Bran Payne transfers in from Notre Dame. Payne has spent the past four seasons with Notre Dame. The 5'10", 205 pound Cincinnati, Ohio native will have at least one year of eligibility remaining.
Payne had 226 yards and two touchdowns and nine catches for 58 yards and two touchdowns during his time at Notre Dame.
The former ESPN 300 player, attended LaSalle High School in Cincinnati.
He will have a chance to be a power back for the Bearcats, in the back field with Zion Johnson and Manny Covey.
