Louisville DB D'Angelo Hutchinson transfers to Cincinnati
Bearcats get late add before the season starts
By J.T. Smith
Today, Louisville safety D'Angelo Hutchinson has transferred to Cincinnati. Hutchinson is a 6'3", 200 pound safety from St. Petersburg, Florida. Last season, he had 84 tackles and one interception. After being granted a fifth year last month, he entered the transfer portal yesterday and now is a Bearcat.
If the injury to Ty Goodwill, who will be out for the season, Hutchinson will provide depth and have a great chance to play alongside MJ Cannon. This move should allow KK Meier to head back to cornerback (but could still get reps at safety) and Jasper Beeler will still be in the mix.
This is a great get this late in the year, the Bearcats will face Boston College September 5th.
