Canadian defensive lineman Matthew Buckeridge commits to Cincinnati

This evening, the Cincinnati Bearcats went over to Canada to receive a commitment from defensive end Matthew Buckeridge. Buckeridge is a 6'4", 242 pound member of the 2027 class from Kitchner, Ontario.
The young man had offers from Kennesaw State, Eastern Michigan, Miami of Ohio, Pitt and UC.
He is the 12th commit of the 2027 class and the second defensive lineman. Buckeridge has the size and length that defensive line coach Walt Stewart can mold into a playmaker.
The Ontario native visited Cincinnati in April and is rumored to be on campus soon if not currently.
