Georgia State LB Damaine Wilson transfers to Cincinnati

Georgia State transfer linebacker Damaine Wilson commits to Cincinnati. Wilson's season was cut short in 2025, but in 13 games he had 45 tackles and an interception. The 6'2", 240 pound sophomore will have a chance to compete for significant reps at linebacker.

Wilson will have at least two years of eligibility remaining. He is the first portal commit at linebacker. The young man will join Jonathan Thompson, Montay Weedon and Simeon Coleman who are lined up to be major contributors.
