Bearcats find quarterback in the portal in JC French IV

This evening, the Cincinnati Bearcats received a commitment from Georgia Southern quarterback JC French IV. French IV will be looked at to replace Brendan Sorsby who just transferred to Texas Tech after being the signal caller for two years.
2025 stats:
2,929 yards passing on 63.8%, 20 touchdowns, 8 interceptions
315 yards rushing and 6 touchdowns
During his three year career:
5,882 yards on 65%, 38 touchdowns and 20 interceptions
602 yards rushing and 8 touchdowns
French IV has at least one year of eligibility remaining. He will join a quarterback room that currently boost redshirt freshman Samaj Jones and an a highly touted freshman.
