MAC Defensive Player of the Year transfers to Cincinnati

On Saturday, it was reported that Bowling Green guard Javontae Campbell has transferred to Cincinnati. Campbell is a 6'2" guard from Muskogee, Oklahoma. Last season, he averaged 18.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 3.0 steals while shooting 50% from the field. He was the MAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2025-26.
Cincinnati is very guard heavy and if Campbell gets his fifth year option along with MJ Collins this team becomes very dangerous.
The question is will both be eligible? If so, Jerrod Calhoun will have to get rotations together as soon as possible, if they aren't eligible maybe it is easier? Overall, this is a great problem to have.
