Today, Cincinnati Bearcats redshirt junior quarterback Brendan Sorsby announced he will enter the transfer portal. It was reported by ESPN's Pete Thamel. This is a huge blow for the Bearcats, but with the play of the quarterback this season he is on the NFL's radar and this year the crop of signal callers are down.

Reports that if Sorsby does stay in college for his final year their are multiple teams that have offered him $4 million and up for his services.

Sorsby will not play in the Liberty Bowl against Navy January 2nd for the Bearcats.

He will stay tied with Desmond Ridder for the most total touchdowns in a season at 36. Throwing for 2,800 yards, 27 touchdowns and five interceptions on 61.6%, while also rushing 580 yards and nine touchdowns.

The 6'3", 235 pound quarterback made Big 12 Second Team and PFF All Big 12.

Without Sorsby, the Bearcats will either turn to senior Brady Lichtenberg or redshirt freshman Samaj Jones against Navy in the Liberty Bowl.
