Grand opening, grand closing? Cincinnati Bearcats guard MJ Collins has been ruled eligible with the ruling yesterday in court listed below. Collins committed to Cincinnati after an injunction allowed him to take advantage of his fifth year of eligibility.

The Bearcats have had Collins from July 9th to August 21st, he played in the two games in the Bahamas averaging 12.0 points and 3.0 assists on 53.5% from the field.

It seems another ruling will happen in September, will Collins be eligible for the 2026-27 season? If so, the Bearcats will be in the top third of the Big 12, without him they could drop a few slots.
