After ten days of waiting, the Michigan State women’s basketball team finally has a destination and a date. The Spartans (22–8) earned a No. 5 seed in the 2026 NCAA Tournament and will travel to Norman, Oklahoma, to face No. 12 seed Colorado State on Friday.
For head coach Robyn Fralick, the announcement was more than just a logistical update – it was a reflection of the steady climb her program has made since her arrival in East Lansing.
“Well, how fun is that? What a great gift of life to feel anticipatory about something,” Fralick said during her press conference Sunday night.
