Michigan State versus Maryland start time and television information announced by Big Ten
The Spartans will host the Terrapins in primetime on Saturday, Nov. 29 in the season finale in Detroit.
Michigan State will host Maryland in the season finale for both teams in primetime at Ford Field in Detroit on Nov. 29. The Big Ten announced Monday afternoon (Nov. 17) that the game will start at 7 p.m. Eastern Time and be broadcast on FS1.
The game will mark the 16th all-time meeting between the programs in a series that dates back to 1944. MSU leads 11-4 overall and have won five of the last seven meetings. The Spartans are 7-3 against the Terps in league play, though one win by MSU has technically been vacated as a result of the hypocritically stupid rules in place at the NCAA.
The Spartans will look to finally get in the win column this upcoming Saturday when they take on Iowa at Kinnick Stadium. MSU enters that matchup at 3-7 overall and 0-7 in Big Ten play.
The Terps host No. 18 Michigan this Saturday before heading to the Motor City to take on MSU. Maryland recently announced it will be retaining embattled head coach Mike Locksley despite a tough 4-6 record overall and 1-6 mark in league play. Locksley is 37-47 in his seventh season at the helm in College Park. He is 2-3 versus the Spartans while with UMD, though again, one win by MSU, the 27-24 victory in College Park last season, was technically vacated from the record books.
