Michigan State Football to host 2026 Spring Showcase in April
Fans will get their first chance to see the new-look Spartans under head coach Pat Fitzgerald on April 18.
Michigan State Athletics and the MSU football program will host a "Spring Showcase" at Spartan Stadium on Saturday, April 18. The event, which is presented by Michigan Achievement Scholarship, will begin at noon Eastern Time and is free to attend.
This event provides the first opportunity for Michigan State fans to see what the new-look Spartans look like under recently-hired head coach Pat Fitzgerald in 2026.
In addition to a new coaching staff, MSU has brought in nearly 30 transfer portal players throughout the offseason thus far, while 45 players from the 2025 roster entered the portal.
The Spartans begin spring football practices on Tuesday, March 17. Spring football practices will conclude with the "Spring Showcase," which marks the 15th and final practice for MSU during this period.
While exact details for the "Spring Showcase" are still being worked out, and more information is expected to be released closer to the event's date, MSU Athletics will have multiple free "fan activations" set up throughout Spartan Stadium. This includes team autographs and much more.
Currently, the Michigan State football program is going through strength and conditions training with newly-hired head strength and conditioning coach Joel Welsh and his staff to help prepare the Spartan players for spring football.
