Trav’s Ten Takeaways: Minnesota
Business-like Effort: With the weather finally cooperating, it was nice to finally play a clean and competent offense game. From our first drive, we were dialed in, and scored on every one of Dante’s drives if you take out the trick play debacle. It was nice to see Sadiq and Johnson involved in the 12 personnel sets that we’ve been asking for, displaying the mismatch versatility that each provides. I expect to see a lot of that again this week. Having two TEs that can block like OL, and split out like WRs, allows you to either hammer the ball or air it out depending on how the defense matches defensively. Generally, it was great to see the offense get back to ruthless efficiency, run-pass balance and gain a lot of confidence heading into two of the most important games in a while.
