2026 Bye Week Roster Snapshot

With the bye week, I figured I would take a look ahead to what duck fans can expect from the 2026 roster. Obviously a good chunk of unknowns, but I believe this will prove a good starting point for thinking about next year’s roster and the remaining needs and decisions.

OFFENSE:

QB

Returning Starter(s): Dante Moore

Returning Depth: Brock Thomas

Current Commits: Bryson Beaver

Preps to Watch in 2026: None

Portal Need? Possible. I could see them either going after a one-year depth piece and also a multi-year guy to come in and use the Dante plan. I think if the right player portals, this could be our next starter.

Context: The ways things are going now, I can’t help but believe that Novosad and Moga will transfer assuming Moore stays. If that’s the case, I see Thomas as the backup and a portal option likely. I do not see Smith Jr. as a guy pushing for snaps.
